At the Huntsman Nature Foundation we believe it is our responsibility to ensure that the legacy of the wilderness is preserved and protected for the next generation. For us this means acquiring and preserving land with the sole intent of keeping it in a healthy and sustainable state that can be used as a platform to educate and spread awareness for conservation efforts. Our goal is to acquire and apply forestry science to all of our nature preserves in order to plant the seeds to healthy habitats 100 years down the line. By doing this we want to make sure that the outdoor enthusiast or the couch camper will always have the opportunity to escape to the land without being burdened of not having any truly wild places near them.
It is our responsibility to make sure that all money raised is funneled transparently through our A.R.T program. A.R.T stands for Acquire, Reinvest, and Transform, this is our business plan simplified. By maintaining an aggressive approach on acquiring land and reinvesting into its preservation we are able to create self-sustainable habitats that will thrive for generations. We would like to create a culture where members of the foundation can work together to develop education programs that appeal to the general public and change the stigma that modern society has on huntsman.
"Our responsibilities as Huntsman goes beyond our own property, the Huntsman Nature Foundation exists to preserve and protect the legacy of the wilderness for the next generation."
There is a lot when it comes to what we plan on accomplishing in the short term. Right off the bat we want to establish a strong presence in the conservation space and build our foundation member by member.
After our splash has been made and the ripples of change settled, our Mid-Term goals are all about staying consistent in growth and maintaining our momentum. By the time our organization reaches its 2-year marker we want to have around 1,000 acres under management and on track to a sustainable future.
The Huntsman Nature Foundation is going to work its hardest to become a leader in the conservation community. We believe that as long as we stay true to our mission and reach our full potential that preserving 100,00 acres of land is perfectly attainable by our 10-year anniversary.
As the size of our organization grows, so will our reach, and there is no reason why our reach can't be endless. We believe in the sanctity of all the natural land in this world and it is our responsibility as huntsman to nurture it.
While our physical impact is our priority, we still want to make an impact that sparks change in an entirely different realm. The conversations and concern over nature and the impending loss of it are all silenced and pushed aside. It is our mission to educate and remind this world just how beautifully important it all is.
What makes us stand out as an organization and how do we stand out amongst similairly aligned non profits? Our goals go beyond what our hands can reach and extend as far as our voices can be heard. We want to inspire more activists and leaders in communities who can utilize their platforms to help real change.
When our platform has hit it‘s first donation goal we will then open up our membership program and be able to give back with membership perks. Until then only single-one time donations are all that’s available.
Welcome to our cause!
