The biggest hurdle in becoming a huntsman or general outdoors person with no background or community is the complete feeling of ignorance. Nothing is more frustrating than not knowing what to ask or even how to get started and the unpopular stereotypes that come from Hunting doesn't promote an abundance of influencers. Project HEAL stands for Huntsman Education and Leadership and our goal is to create a community that is able to bring qualified and exceptional individuals to the limelight in order to initiate those hard to have conversations with people and lobby for real change.
Project Heal is going to make mentorship something desirable and fulfilling. By creating a safe and exciting environment we are going to help many people discover the parts of the outdoors that we as a people have so quickly forgotten. Another one of the major setbacks for people who hunt is keeping the legacy going. It is hard trying to pass down legacy and tradition to a generation that looks down on such things. We live in a world where misinformation and selective outrage created a culture that looks down on anything that doesn't conform with "modern" ideas.
Project H.E.A.L is going to change that. By using social media and appealing to the new generations approach on marketing, we will be using all that we can to spread awareness and start a new conversation. Whether that be introducing people to the careers of forestry or the mental benefits of traditional hunting, we are going to heal the wounds that modernism has inflicted onto Huntsman Culture.
Our Youtube is still underway, check out this awesome video covering some major deforestation facts!
Your donations allow us to make more educational videos and spread awareness for key issues! Every dollar goes a long way.
